Program Criteria:

  • The applicant must be at least 18 years old as of the registration closing date.
  • The applicant must not be an employee of Soudah Development Company, Monsha’at, or any of the organising or partner entities.
2

  • The idea must fall under one of the three tracks: Tourism Experiences, Hospitality and Services, or Community Living Solutions.
  • The idea must be original and owned by the applicant or team, and must not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • The idea must address a genuine need related to the destination or the local community, and be capable of developing into a sustainable small or medium enterprise.

The Team

  • Each team appoints a leader as the official point of contact with the program administration.
  • An applicant may participate with one idea, or two at most.
  • An applicant may not participate in more than one team or more than one idea.
4

Commitment

  • Full attendance of the pre-enablement phase is a condition for qualifying for the three hackathon days.

  • Adherence to the program’s values and professional conduct.
